講座概要

地域医療学分野は、医学教育学講座のうち大学外の医療現場における教育を担当する分野です。地域医療実習を通じて、地域の問題点を検証し、総合的臨床能力を意識した医学生を育成します。

教授挨拶

地域医療学は、医学教育の一分野として医師の原点を感じさせてくれる分野です。岩手医科大学では、低学年から地域医療に接する実習システムがあります。岩手医科大学が岩手県の医療を担っていることを、学生時代から実習を通じて感じてもらい、プロフェッショナリズムを確実に有する医師になれる医学生の育成を行います。また、岩手県固有の医療の問題点を明らかにしながら、研究を進めてまいります。また、医療計画で推進される地域包括ケアにかかわる実習システムを、多学部が同一キャンパスで学べる岩手医科大学の学部横断的な構造を生かし、構築いたします。全国地域医療教育協議会にも参画して地域医療教育の普遍化を追求していきます。
