講座概要

正しい知識と経験に基づく論理的思考および質の高い医療を持ち合わせ、患者さんに対して優しい心をもって接する歯科医師を、そして大学院歯学研究科においては次世代を担う研究者を育てることを念頭に置いています。医学教育は座学では学ぶことの出来ない現場での臨床教育が必要で、臨床実習から得ることの出来る患者との直接的な関わり合いから口腔・歯科領域疾患と全身疾患の関係を理解し、全身を診ることのできるより奥行きのある知識や考え方を持った歯科医師の育成を心掛けています。歯学部医科学充実のために歯学部および医学部双方からの質の高い教育を行うことで、内科学を含む広い知識を有し人間味あふれた歯科医師および歯学研究者となることを望みます。

教授挨拶

口腔は消化器の入口で、咀嚼、嚥下などに関わる重要な領域であり、消化管学と密接な関係にあり、また近年の高齢化社会において、循環器疾患や代謝疾患など様々な内科疾患を持ち合わせている受診者が増加しており、口腔疾患との関係について理解を深めることが必要です。今後は生活習慣病など様々な内科疾患を持った有病者の歯科診療の機会が増加していくものと考えます。口腔は全身の一部でもあり、内科疾患が歯科診療に影響を与え、歯科疾患が全身に悪影響を及ぼすことが明らかになっています。本講座で企画・編集した「歯科医師のための内科学（医歯薬出版）」をテキストとして内科学からみた口腔・歯科領域の関係をさらに理解することができる様な講義および実習を考え、卒後教育においては海外に通用する研究者育成を心掛けています。

• High-resolution manometry(HRM)による嚥下困難症例の咽頭・食道運動機能の研究
• 高解像度MRIを用いた機能性消化管疾患(FGIDs)における研究
• 口腔癌患者の手術療法，化学療法，放射線療法における栄養状態の検討
• 口腔関連癌における狭帯域光観察 (Narrow Band Imaging : NBI）を用いた拡大内視鏡検査
• 歯周病菌Porphyromonas gingivalisによる肝細胞癌増殖促進機構の解明
• 歯周病菌代謝物（プロピオン酸・酢酸）による接合上皮バリア障害機構
• 過剰フルクトース誘導性肝細胞ネクロトーシスの分子機構
• 分子標的薬（ソラフェニブ・レンバチニブ）の細胞種特異的作用
• 分岐鎖アミノ酸（BCAA）のアストロサイトに対する影響評価
• 天然化合物カルノシン酸の抗腫瘍効果
