講座概要

近年、電子カルテや検査・画像データなど、医療現場で扱われるデータは急速に増加しています。これらのデータを適切に収集·解析し、診断·治療や疾病予防、さらには医療の質の向上につなげるため、医学·医療におけるデータ科学・情報科学の重要性はますます高まっています。

本研究室では、医学·医療とデータ科学・情報科学を融合し、統計解析や機械学習などを活用した医療データ科学に関する研究を推進しています。また、医療専門職に求められる情報・データリテラシーの向上を目指し、ICTを活用した実践的な教育や、時代の変化に対応した教育手法の開発にも取り組んでいます。さらに、研究計画の立案からデータの整理・解析まで、研究者の活動を支援する体制の充実にも力を入れています。
